After clubs, runners. NOLT, a Nice-based brand of sportswear made from recycled polyester, is launching its running apparel collection, its co-founder Paul Guinard announced. The collection was funded through a crowdfunding campaign, Le Journal des Entreprises reported.

The company was set up in Nice in 2020 by Paul Guinard and Olivier Guigonis with a stated ambition: to offer a fully ecological and circular sportswear brand. Its jerseys, designed to be recycled at the end of their life, are sold directly to clubs, without intermediaries.

For a young brand, selling directly to clubs makes it possible to remain competitive against the major sportswear manufacturers while keeping track of the jerseys until they are recycled.
