Rally, circus, Midem, Mipim: the French Riviera’s winter 2027 calendar
From January to March, Monaco and Cannes host one major international event after another. The dates already announced by the organisers.
The year will open on the roads. The 95th Monte-Carlo Rally, first round of the World Rally Championship, is scheduled for 21 to 24 January, subject to approval of the calendar by the FIA, according to the Automobile Club de Monaco. Gap will be at the heart of the route. Classic cars take over from 27 January to 3 February for the 29th Monte-Carlo Historic Rally.
Under the Fontvieille big top, the 49th Monte-Carlo International Circus Festival runs from 22 to 31 January, alongside the 14th edition of New Generation, devoted to young performers.
In Cannes, the Palais des Festivals first hosts Midem, the music industry gathering, from 19 to 21 January, then Mipim, the major international property fair, from 15 to 19 March. The Cannes Film Festival has confirmed that its 80th edition will take place in May.
For the regional economy these weeks matter: they fill hotels out of season and bring thousands of professionals from around the world to the French Riviera.
