A change of course at the top of the CMA CGM group's media businesses. Camille Andrieu took over on Monday as chief executive of CMA Media, which includes BFMTV, RMC and La Tribune. The group announced on 1 October the departure of Claire Léost, who had arrived around a year earlier.

The new chief executive knows the Marseille-based shipping group well. She joined CMA CGM in 2023 as Rodolphe Saadé's chief of staff, before being appointed deputy chief executive of CMA Media this year. She reports to Véronique Saadé, chair of CMA Media.

Fabien Namias, chief executive of BFMTV, and Karim Nedjari, chief executive of RMC and RMC Sport, report directly to her. She is also acting head of the advertising sales house RMC BFM Ads following the departure of Raphaël Porte, according to CB News.

Her first announcements concern sport: CMA Media is formalising its acquisition of RMC Sport and creating a new entity, CMA Sport, Puremédias reported.

In recent years CMA CGM has built up a media division around BFMTV, RMC and La Tribune, whose management is now entrusted to a close associate of Rodolphe Saadé.
